We are the only social enterprise and smallest organization reaching finals at this prestigious international award. We are now in need of corporate support to continue competing at the finals! Sustainability Tribe’s Organizational Resilience:
Tribe, as you know Sustainability Tribe has been educating society about climate change and sustainability for the past 12 years and inspiring climate actions in social as well as business communities. I truly believe that the impact we have created by contributing to changing mindsets in society and industry is the biggest reward for our work! Amplifying these impacts on a larger scale is our ultimate mission and vision. As a sustainability expert, I regularly get invited to join distinguished panels of the jury at many international and local sustainability-specific industry awards. But we never thought of participating in any awards till now. But when the awards organizer reached us with ‘organizational resilience awards’ participation request, especially recognizing how Sustainability Tribe has withstood the test of time more than a decade and successfully launched innovative programs during the toughest time of our life, pandemic, continue to stay true with our ethos. It was thrilling to realize the fact that such a big international platform wants to recognize our work and organizational resilience behind it!
So we entered the competition with our two newly launched initiatives, as a response to the pandemic, Our first innovative challenge-based program is Sustainability Tribe Ambassadors and Our second initiative is the Sustainability Education program, which is designed with the aim of making our business and social community future-ready. Both these programs are launched in response to the challenges we faced during the covid-19 pandemic when we had to rethink our operations. The Ambassador program was in fact created on our Tribe’s demand. During the pandemic, in 2020, we had to entirely stop our Community Events, all in-person activities, services, and programs. However, our readers, members, partners, volunteers reached out to us with a common request that they want to do more and how can they get involved virtually? So we designed this program where members of society can join the program for free and our partners can engage with them by providing rewards.
The second program is our attempt of solving current market problems, lack of affordable and reliable sustainability education which can be accessible to everyone. To fight climate change and world problems, all industries and businesses need to move towards more sustainable business practices. To do so professionals in every field are going to need basic sustainability education almost like a basic professional skill. To bridge this gap our digital Sustainability Education Program was born where E-books, Online Courses created by sustainability experts will be available and accessible to anyone from anywhere around the world.

We are very proud that our constant efforts and Sustainability Tribe’s resilience have been recognized in these awards. At finals, we are going to compete with giants like Etihad Rail, UAE’s Telecommunication and Regulatory Authority, Splash (fashion), Swiss Business Council, Abu Dhabi and this itself is a big achievement for a humble social enterprise like ours!
